Studio Art- Light Bulb Portrait Sculptures

Objective for this Unit: I can create an accurate sculpture of a character that was created from a combination of my imagination and my own face. Step 1: Trace your lightbulb three times on a piece of paper. Hold your pencil straight up and down to get an accurate tracing. Make sure you line up your three drawings as well. This foldable will serve as an introduction to the Elements of art and it will also help you later on when you need to study! Start by folding your paper in half Measure to see how long your paper is...mine is 12 inches Divide your paper into eight equal sections (I had to divide 12 by 8 so I made a mark at every 1.5 inch) Draw lines to make equal sections With pencil draw in each element of art in a way that helps describe what that element is about Use colored pencils to accurately and creatively enhance each element (start with color)
